Author

Hallucinogens and psychoactive substances as support in psychotherapy are again in the focus of research. This book deals with the current empiricism and relevance of the historically very old psychoactive substance psilocybin or psilocin from the so-called "magic mushrooms".

Sophie Charlotte Adler's book on Psilocybin and its potentials in psychotherapy through accessing altered states of consciousness

NEW BOOK

"Book Chapter: KAH Combined with Ego State Therapy in: "Ego-State Therapy — From Historical Roots to Innovative Practice" Edited by Dr. Woltemade Hartman

Sophie- contributes a chapter to this landmark volume — the first comprehensive handbook of Ego State Therapy in the German-speaking world, bringing together over 30 international contributors. Her chapter, co-authored with Dr. Woltemade Hartman, introduces KAH in combination with Ego State Therapy and demonstrates through a live co-facilitated case study how elements of parts work can be meaningfully integrated into the ketamine-assisted hypnotherapeutic process. The book is edited by Dr. Hartman himself, one of the world's leading authorities in Ego State Therapy.

BOOK

Book Chapter: "Ketamine-Assisted Hypnotherapy" in: "Ketamin und psychoaktive Substanzen in psychotherapeutischen Prozessen"

This volume emerged from the first German-language Ketamine Congress in 2021 — an event Sophie co-initiated — and brings together international clinicians on the therapeutic use of ketamine and other psychoactive substances in psychotherapy. Sophie contributes a chapter on Ketamine-Assisted Hypnotherapy, presenting KAH as a structured clinical framework that creates a therapeutic experience around the ketamine infusion: from psychological preparation and hypnotherapeutic guidance during the altered state, to integration afterwards. The book, edited together with Prof. Dr. Dirk Revenstorf — one of the world's leading authorities in clinical hypnosis and Sophie's long-standing collaborator — marks an early and significant moment in the clinical and academic recognition of this field.
